元代：杨果
玉箫声断凤凰楼，憔悴人别后。留得啼痕满罗袖。去来休，楼前风景浑依旧。当初只恨，无情烟柳，不解系行舟。
译文：在她居住的小楼上，再不闻玉箫吹响。自从与心上人分手后，她已憔悴得不成模样，衣袖上留下了泪痕千行。她在楼上走来走去，楼外依然是旧时的风光。那如烟如织的柳树，最惹起她的怨伤：只恨当初它们太冷漠无情，不懂得把他的坐船牢牢系住，让他不能启程。
注释：小桃红：越调曲牌名，多用来抒情写意。句式为七、五、七、三、七、四、四、五，共八句。玉箫声断：据刘向《列仙传》载，秦时有一萧史，擅长吹箫，其箫声甚至能将孔雀、白鹤等吸引过来。当时，秦穆公女儿弄玉也喜欢吹箫，与其结为夫妇。秦穆公建造了凤凰楼给他们居住。婚后，二人每日吹箫，竟将凤凰都吸引了过来。后来二人皆随凤凰而去。凤凰楼：女子闺楼，对女子居楼的美称。休：语末助词，无义。浑：全然。不解：不懂。

杨果，[1195-1269]字正卿，号西庵，祈州蒲阴（今河北安国县）人。生于金章宗承安二年（宋庆元三年），金哀宗正大元年（1224）登进士第，官至参知政事，为官以干练廉洁著称。卒，谥文献。工文章，长于词曲，著有《西庵集》。与元好问交好。其散曲作品内容多咏自然风光，曲辞华美，富于文采。明朱权《太和正音谱》评其曲“如花柳芳妍”。
