隋代：卢思道
朔方烽火照甘泉，长安飞将出祁连。
译文：北方边塞的战火已照在秦汉离宫故地的甘泉山上，似同李广那样的飞将军兵出长安再出祁连山关隘。
注释：朔方：北方。郡名。西汉元朔二年(公元前127年)置。治所在朔方，今内蒙古自治区杭锦旗北。甘泉：甘泉宫。故址在今陕西淳化西北甘泉山。飞将：飞将军李广。祁连：山名。匈奴语意为“天山”。
犀渠玉剑良家子，白马金羁侠少年。
译文：执掌犀皮之盾和冰玉利剑的士兵都是征来的良家子弟，跨白马执金缰的都是侠义少年。
注释：犀渠：用犀皮制成的盾牌。古代传说中的兽名。玉剑：玉具剑，剑鼻和剑镡用白玉制成的剑。良家子：好人家的子弟。金羁jī：金饰的马络头。
平明偃月屯右地，薄暮鱼丽逐左贤。
译文：凌晨起就在边塞之地摆下“偃月”之阵，夜幕临近时便以“鱼丽”之阵战胜驱除匈奴的左贤之官。
注释：平明：犹黎明。天刚亮的时候。偃月：横卧形的半弦月。喻天黑。半月形的阵营。右地：匈奴右贤王的领地。西部地区。对“左地”而言。左地，汉代匈奴左贤王辖下的上谷以东地区。薄暮：傍晚，太阳快落山的时候。鱼丽：鱼丽阵。左贤：匈奴的左贤王。
谷中石虎经衔箭，山上金人曾祭天。
译文：历战的山谷中都留下了状如李广以石为虎箭入石中的神力无穷的故事，山岭上则是汉将霍去病胜敌后缴械敌方祭天用具的的美传。
注释：经：曾经。衔箭：以口含箭。犹中箭。出自李广射石虎典故。金人：铜铸的人像。指佛像。张守节正义：“金人即今佛像。”
天涯一去无穷已，蓟门迢递三千里。
译文：战事绵绵似天涯般没有穷尽，战场距蓟门(今北京城北)迢迢三千里之遥。
注释：穷已：穷止。穷尽。蓟门：即蓟丘。迢递：遥远貌。连绵不绝貌。
朝见马岭黄沙合，夕望龙城阵云起。
译文：早上见到的是马岭关上的滚滚黄沙，晚上看见的是匈奴王庭处的兵阵如云。
注释：马岭：河南省洛阳市孟津县常袋镇马岭村。合：合起。聚集。龙城：有说汉时匈奴地名。为匈奴祭天之处。有说龙城是指河北卢龙。
庭中奇树已堪攀，塞外征人殊未还。
译文：(征人行前)庭院中植下的佳树已长到可以攀人的大小，可塞外作战的亲人仍未回还。
注释：奇树：少见之树种。堪攀：能够攀折。塞外：边塞之外。泛指我国北边地区。指长城以北的地区。也叫“塞北”。殊：过期。很，甚。
白云初下天山外，浮云直向五原间。
译文：心如飘雪随夫远至于新疆中部的天山之外，又若浮云飞悬到内蒙西部的五原城中。
注释：天山：亚洲中部大山系，东段在中国新疆中部。五原：关塞名。即汉五原郡之榆柳塞。在今内蒙古自治区五原县。
关山万里不可越，谁能坐对芳菲月。
译文：而那万里之遥的关隘高山是不可穿越的，如何独自应对百花芬芳下的清明月色呢？
注释：芳菲：芳香。花草盛美。
流水本自断人肠，坚冰旧来伤马骨。
译文：别离后的时光飞逝似流水使人有断肠之痛，那塞外的苦战和寒冷连战马之骨都屡屡受伤。
注释：本自：原本自然。原本出自。本来就，一向是。旧来：原来，从来；向来。
边庭节物与华异，冬霰秋霜春不歇。
译文：塞外的节气与物候与内地大不相同，冬秋长而春季短。
注释：边庭：边境的朝堂。节物：时节和物品。与华异：与中华大地不同。冬霰：冬天空中降落的白色小冰粒。春不歇：在春天里都不能停歇。
长风萧萧渡水来，归雁连连映天没。
译文：萧萧长风尚可伴河而渡，南归之雁也可依时不断的逝向天边。
注释：长风：远风。暴风；大风。萧萧：象声词。常形容马叫声、风雨声、流水声、草木摇落声、乐器声等。形容凄清、寒冷。连连：连续不断。映天：反映在天空。
从军行，军行万里出龙庭，单于渭桥今已拜，将军何处觅功名。
译文：从军而去，直到离皇城万里去远征。想那汉宣帝渭桥见匈奴单于而和好罢战之事(事在公元前51年)，欲战不能的将军们还将何处寻求征战以邀功名呢？
注释：龙庭：匈奴单于祭天地鬼神之所。单于：匈奴的君长的称号。渭桥：汉唐时代长安附近渭水上的桥梁。离别之地。拜：拜服。

卢思道（公元531年-583年）字子行。范阳（今河北涿州）人。年轻时师事“北朝三才”之一邢劭（字子才），以才学重于当时，仕于北齐。齐宣王卒，朝臣各作挽歌10首，择善者用之，思道十得其八，时称“八米卢郎”。北齐末待诏文林馆。北周灭齐后入长安，官至散骑侍郎。一生的主要文学活动在北朝。
