何焯（1661—1722），字润千，因早年丧母，改字屺瞻，号义门、无勇、茶仙，晚年多用茶仙。 江苏长洲（今苏州）人，寄籍崇明，为为官后迁回长洲（苏州）。先世曾以“义门”旌，学者称义门先生。清康熙四十二（1703）年癸未科第二甲第三名进士。曾为皇八子胤禩伴读。在当时以通经史百家之学，长于考订而有盛名。他在考据学上很有造诣，对坊间出版书籍的错误都一一订正。何焯与笪重光、姜宸英、汪士鋐并称为康熙年间“帖学四大家”。他的楷书作品《桃花园诗》简静疏朗，清雅古穆，为书迹中的上上之作。
