约公元一o一九年前后在世字世英，齐州历城（今山东济南）人。生卒年均不详，约宋真宗天禧中前后在世。与王樵、贾同齐名；又与刘潜同时以文学称京东。举进士不第，得同三礼出身，调乾宁主。冠著有《东皋集》二十卷，不传。存词五首。《宋史本传》传于世。 沈谦《填词杂说》赞其《蝶恋花》“数点雨声风约住，朦胧淡月云来去”句，以为“‘红杏枝头春意闹’，‘云破月来花弄影’俱不及”。
