宋洪州南昌人，字龟父。黄庭坚甥。两举进士不第，终身布衣。工诗，庭坚称其笔力扛鼎，与弟洪刍、洪炎、洪羽俱有才名，号四洪。年仅三十八而卒。有《洪龟父集》。
