醉桃源·元日鉴赏
“元日”，即元旦。
“五更”两句，写一年复始，一切都趋于清静无为的状态之中。言在元旦的凌晨，卧槽之马在寂静地休息着，邻家的打更鸡，也象是在怕要惊醒人们的好觉似的，不再打鸣。“日华”两句，概述一天变化。言拂晓时太阳出来了，跟着似乎春天也降临到了人间，万物开始清明复苏，然而到了入暮时分残寒侵体，又使人感到了一种无明的忧愁。上片是概述自己元日之中的一天感受，及心情的变化。
“新岁梦”三句，写己之醉梦至醒的过程。言元旦清晨的好梦，是对去年的眷恋之情。而自己在除夕夜所饮的酒，过了一夜如今也已半醒过来。“春风”两句，醒后见闻。言柔和的春风在轻轻地飘东拂西，将梅花瓣缓缓地送至地面。忽然听到从驿亭那边传过来几声孤雁的凄鸣声，不由使人感到了一种孤独中的悲哀。下片述己孤身度日的无聊情状。
全词娓娓而谈，笼罩着一种淡淡的哀伤。

吴文英（约1200～1260），字君特，号梦窗，晚年又号觉翁，四明（今浙江宁波）人。原出翁姓，后出嗣吴氏。与贾似道友善。有《梦窗词集》一部，存词三百四十余首，分四卷本与一卷本。其词作数量丰沃，风格雅致，多酬答、伤时与忆悼之作，号“词中李商隐”。而后世品评却甚有争论。
