译文
月亮初升时秋露已经稀微，身着单薄的罗衣并未更换别的衣裳。
漫漫长夜满怀深情地银筝拨动，心中害怕独守空房，不忍进屋睡觉。
注释
秋夜曲：属乐府《杂曲歌辞》，是一首宛转含蓄的闺怨诗。
桂魄：即月亮。相传月中有桂树，又月初生时的微光曰魄，故称初生之月为桂魄。
轻罗：轻盈的丝织品，宜做夏装，在此代指夏装。
已薄：已觉单薄。
筝：拨弦乐器，十三弦。
殷勤弄：频频弹拨。
空房：谓独宿无伴。
秋夜曲鉴赏
首句点明时间，夜幕初临，月充刚刚从东方升起，秋露虽生，却还微薄稀少，说明天气已经凉爽，但还不觉寒冷，给人一种清凉之感，烘托出女主人公清冷孤寂的心情。这与下面一句正好相互呼应，由于天气已凉，所穿的轻盈细软的罗衣，已感到单薄了。但还不觉得寒冷难忍，所以还没更换衣服。字里间隐隐充溢出女主人公因秋凉需要更衣而思念远方丈夫的情愫。
第三句写女主人公的弹筝行动，实际是以乐曲寄情。讲述女主人公一直在室外弹筝，从月亮初升一直到夜深，仍然在频频弹拨，丝毫没有回房的意思。实写女主人公迷恋弹筝，以至废寝忘餐。实则醉翁之意不在酒，她并不是因为爱弹筝爱得入迷才这样，而是“心怯空房不忍归”，以揭穿了女主人公内心处的秘密。
末句以巧妙的构思和奇特的表现方法，通过女主人公的心理活动，展示了她独守空房的哀怨。写女主人公在深深思念着远出的丈夫，夜不能寐，不愿独守空房，只有借弹筝来排遣凄凉寂寞的情怀。房空，心更空虚，其情悲切。
此诗前两句是写景，写得颇为悠闲，秋夜微凉，景物凄清；诗人描写了一种清冷的景象，以此为“背景”，再写女主人公的“衣着”，以衬托其孤寂。末两句是写情，主人公寂寞难寝，殷勤弄筝，接写“弹筝”的行动，似迷恋乐曲，实际上以乐曲寄情。末句画龙点睛，通过正面抒情，对思妇的心理活动，进行了生动深刻的刻划，顿觉无限幽怨之情跃然于纸上。
此诗语极委婉，情极细腻，把儿女羞涩的情感遮掩得严严实实。诗人借用女主人公心理活动来展示其独守空房的哀怨，曲尽其妙；代写思妇心境，抒发内心空虚的痛苦，更显深刻细腻生动，流露出女主人公独守空房、思念丈夫的怨情，表现出诗人诗艺的功力。

王维（701年－761年，一说699年—761年），字摩诘，汉族，河东蒲州（今山西运城）人，祖籍山西祁县，唐朝诗人，有“诗佛”之称。苏轼评价其：“味摩诘之诗，诗中有画；观摩诘之画，画中有诗。”开元九年（721年）中进士，任太乐丞。王维是盛唐诗人的代表，今存诗400余首，重要诗作有《相思》《山居秋暝》等。王维精通佛学，受禅宗影响很大。佛教有一部《维摩诘经》，是王维名和字的由来。王维诗书画都很有名，非常多才多艺，音乐也很精通。与孟浩然合称“王孟”。
