不与行人绾离别，赋成谢女雪飞香。
咏秋柳鉴赏
这是女诗人纪映淮的一首咏物诗。
首句写柳树所处的环境。清秋时节，几点寒鸦栖息在秦淮河边的柳树上，清凉澄澈的秋水在河中缓缓流淌，微泛波光，这些风物，点染出一派清冷萧瑟的气氛，对下句诗中秋柳的萧疏神态起了适切的陪衬作用。次句写女诗人此时的心情。秋季的柳树已不像春天那样生机蓬勃、婀娜多姿了。随着树叶黄落，秋柳已显得有些萧条稀疏，特别是眼前的秦淮柳只有稀稀落落的几行，就更令人增添萧疏之感了。“萧疏”二字，突现出秋柳的风神资质；而女诗人偏偏爱看秋柳这萧疏的神态，这不仅因为秋柳本身显示出一种与春柳迥异的清朗的美，而且也因为女诗人本身具有清高的气质和孤寂的心境，正是这种主客观的交融才使诗人产生了独特的美感。
在前两句诗曲尽秋柳妙处的基础上，诗人在末两句又进一步抒写了内心的情思。春天时节，柳色青青，柔条依依，人们常折柳以表惜别之情，如今秋柳这般萧疏，它那衰黄的枝条显然已不可能系住离亲别友的游子行人了，可是，曾几何时，当柳树扬花吐絮，它曾撩起多少诗人才女的诗意啊！《世说新语·言语》载：“谢太傅寒雪日内集，与儿女讲论文义，俄而雪骤，公欣然曰：‘白雪纷纷何所似？’兄子胡儿曰：‘撒盐空中差可拟。’兄女曰：‘未若柳絮因风起。’公大笑乐。即公大兄无奕女（谢道韫），左将军王凝之妻也。”谢道韫以飞絮比雪，应声成佳句，后世遂用“咏絮才、咏雪才、柳絮才、谢女才”等称扬工于吟诗的女子，或指其才华。此处女诗人反用此典，以雪比飞絮，“飞香”二字，又点化了李白“瑶台雪花数千点，片片吹落春风香”之句，显得更为凝练优美，使读者仿佛嗅到杨柳吐絮飞花时节的清香。显然，诗人是以谢女自况而又并不逊色的。无怪乎王士祯闻此诗，因作《秦淮杂诗》云：“十里秦淮水蔚蓝，板桥斜日柳毵毵。栖鸦流水空萧瑟，不见题诗纪阿男。”盖赏其风神也。
