译文
追求长生之道，自从神农就开始了。
听别人说：紫阳真人是在仙人名录中挂了号的。
呼吸真妙之气，吟颂〈步虚〉仙词。
所行之道符合仙人规程，心灵与自然融合，人天合一。
居住的高楼仿佛来自蓬莱仙岛，饲养的白鹤即将载你飞到天庭。
清晨，窗外松雪明媚，玉阶下池塘水波潋滟。
喜欢听歌赏琴，管他什么皇帝公卿。
希望赐予我金丹妙药，一起飞往天庭。
注释
⑴唐时随州，又谓之汉东郡，属山南东道。紫阳先生，即胡紫阳，李白作有《汉东紫阳先生碑铭》。
⑵《史记正义》：《括地志》云：厉山，在随州随县北百里，山东有石穴。昔神农生于厉乡，所谓列山氏也。春秋时为厉国。
⑶《艺文类聚》：《真人周君传》曰：紫阳真人周义山，字委通，汝阴人也。入蒙山，遇羡门子乘白鹿，执羽盖，仗青毛之节，侍从十余玉女，乃再拜叩头，乞长生要诀。羡门子曰：“子名在丹台玉室，何忧不仙？”
⑷《抱朴子》：“闭藏喘息”。又曰：“粗气，是喘息之气也。”《楚辞》：“飡六气而饮沆瀣兮。”
⑸《异苑》：陈思王游山，忽闻空里诵经声，清远遒亮，解音者则而写之，为神仙声。道士效之，作步虚声。《乐府古题要解》：“《步虚词》，道观所唱，备言众仙缥缈轻举之美。”
⑹陈子昂诗：“古之得仙道，信与元化并。”
⑺《一统志》：玉京洞，在赤城山，道书十大洞天之第六。晋许迈尝居此，《与王羲之书》云“自山阴至临海，多有金庭玉堂仙人芝草”，谓此。庾信诗：“玉京传相鹤，太乙授飞龟。”
⑻颜延年诗：“山明望松雪。”
⑼金液，仙家上药。
⑽《楚辞》：“若王侨之乘云兮，载赤霄而游太清。”

李白（701年－762年），字太白，号青莲居士，唐朝浪漫主义诗人，被后人誉为“诗仙”。祖籍陇西成纪(待考)，出生于西域碎叶城，4岁再随父迁至剑南道绵州。李白存世诗文千余篇，有《李太白集》传世。762年病逝，享年61岁。其墓在今安徽当涂，四川江油、湖北安陆有纪念馆。
