译文
夏日的若耶溪傍，美丽的采莲女三三俩俩采莲子。隔着荷花共人笑语，人面荷花相映红。
阳光照耀采莲女的新妆，水底也显现一片光明。风吹起,衣袂空中举，荷香体香共飘荡。
那岸上谁家游冶郎在游荡？三三五五躺在垂杨的柳阴里。
身边的紫骝马的嘶叫隆隆，落花纷纷飞去。见此美景，骚人踟蹰，愁肠空断。
注释
采莲曲：属乐府清商曲辞。起于梁武帝萧衍父子，后人多拟之。
若耶溪：在今浙江绍兴市南。
袂：衣袖。全诗校:“一作袖。”
游冶郎：出游寻乐的青年男子。
紫骋：毛色枣红的良马。
踟蹰：徘徊。

采莲曲鉴赏
李白诗将吴越采莲女的娇艳清纯放在荷花丛中加以表现，又用岸上游冶郎的徘徊踯躅不忍离去反衬采莲女的魅力，描绘出明艳、活泼、大方的采莲女的新形象，语言入清水芙蓉，天然雅清，毫无做作，一气呵成，展示出诗人的姿态高雅、清新脱俗。弥补了六朝以来采莲女形象的苍白与虚饰。
第一句：若耶河边采莲女，笑隔荷花共人语。溪边采莲花的女孩，隔着荷花谈笑风生，互相嬉戏，或是和风细雨，或是娇喘微微。荷叶田田，芙蓉朵朵，与春风满面的姑娘的粉颊交相辉映，正如王昌龄《采莲曲》中所道“乱入池中看不见，闻歌始觉有人来。”隔着莲花，似有似无的朦胧之美，意趣盎然，富有生活气息。“笑隔荷花”将采莲女纤手拨荷花愉快交谈的神态细腻的表现出来，生动形象。
第二句：日照新妆水底明，风飘香袖空中举。温和的阳光，浓抹的新妆，清澈的流水，风飘香袖的妩媚，勾勒出一幅清新明丽的采莲图，节奏轻快，活泼自然。采莲女不知是在挥手还是在故意摆弄，将香袖高举，河面倒映着采莲女精心准备的新妆，最是那一低头的闲花照水，露出她娇羞的神态，腼腆不胜凉风的吹拂，正如“照花前后镜，画面交相映”，人花难辨。这两句勾勒出了“江南可采莲，莲叶何田田”的美好意境，如闻其声，如见其人，如临其境，让人感受到一股勃勃生机，领略到采莲人内心的欢乐，所谓“菱歌唱不彻，知在此塘中”。
第三句：岸上谁家游冶郎，三三五五映垂杨。欢声笑语吸引了岸上的游冶郎，不知哪家的公子，三三五五、似隐非隐在垂杨下，我们可以想象出此时的采莲女面对岸边的游冶郎会有多么的娇羞，所谓“女为悦己者容”，心里怦跳的喜悦之情溢于言表。李白笔下的娇羞之态并未点明，只是从“日照新妆水底明，风飘香袖空中举”联想到的，有着明丽可人的浪漫情调，自有一种清新脱俗。诗人将她们置于青翠欲滴的荷叶丛中，又以游冶郎的徘徊搔首来衬托她们的娇美，使用乐府写罗敷的手法，从而更加委婉传神。
第四句：紫骝嘶入落花去，见此踟蹰空断肠。诗人骑着紫骝，马儿嘶鸣着，惊花，花落，空见那一份景色，使人凄怆断肠。这里充斥着诗人对时光飞逝、岁月不饶人的感叹，及对美景易逝的无奈之情，寄托着作者因怀才不遇、壮志难伸而发出的愁思，这与他平素洒脱自信、率真不羁、清新飘逸的风格有所不同，而以一种细腻温婉的笔触，引人遐思。“踟蹰空断肠”，似是断肠人在天涯，象他《月下独酌》中一身孤傲与月为伴，与影为伴，还是免不了苍茫寂寥、清绝孤独之感，一向大气豪迈的李白也有避不了的人生悲哀。

李白（701年－762年），字太白，号青莲居士，唐朝浪漫主义诗人，被后人誉为“诗仙”。祖籍陇西成纪(待考)，出生于西域碎叶城，4岁再随父迁至剑南道绵州。李白存世诗文千余篇，有《李太白集》传世。762年病逝，享年61岁。其墓在今安徽当涂，四川江油、湖北安陆有纪念馆。
