字以和，号寄舫，以同知分发浙江不赴。秉性恬憺，收藏书法名画，精于鉴别，喜山水，得元人超逸之致，筑别业于宅畔，名曰“适园”，园中画室曰“易画轩”，与人约画者，必以颂诗相易，一时四方名人投赠，题赠诗文成编行世。平日以书画吟咏自娱。著有《适园自娱草》。子羲唐丙戌进士，工部主事。
