契嵩（一○○七～一○七二），字仲灵，自号潜子，欲姓李，藤州镡津（今广西藤县）人。七岁出家，十四受具足戒，十九游方天下。仁宗庆历间居钱塘，嘉祐六年（一○六一）入京，献所著《禅宗定祖图》、《传法正宗记》，诏付传法院，并赐号明教。神宗熙宁五年六月卒于杭州灵隐寺，年六十六。有《嘉祐集》、《治平集》凡百馀卷。今存《镡津文集》二十二卷，其中诗二卷。
