陕府鸡足山人，一名式，又名道原，字太源。尝为僧，法号紫贤，又号毗陵禅师。云游长安，留开福寺。后为道士。徽宗崇宁五年寓郿，遇石杏林传授口诀真要，乃注解《悟真篇》，作《复命篇》及《丹髓歌》。高宗绍兴中寿至一百十四岁卒。
