我闻义仆有高永，事在河西祸汹汹。高公一死殉封疆，仆义亦与封疆重。
为臣死忠仆死义，纲常万古同一视。于滕复有姬公仆，节槩棱棱若符契。
姓名附见绝命辞，李子守务堪挥涕。守务之名何独彰，庙貌且与魏竖峙。
君不记前者白莲贼，倡乱滕阳越邹峄。妖术一呼千百群，所至空城挈家室。
贼兵未至官辄逃，纷纷不数丞尉职。岂无黄堂别驾尊，拥幰邹城如传客。
滕阳之令甫下车，恸哭巡城城已虚。贼从东方破门入，横来县堂索县符。
縳令不诛三日许，手执笏板身衣朱。再拜阖门乃雉经，凄凉官舍奴子俱。
魏竖遂以滕印完，收骸甫毕先后诛。贼党相顾多缩颈，慷慨义烈生不如。
封疆小吏分固尔，此仆此死何其愚。食人之禄分人忧，各为其主心非殊。
高台道傍筑京观，视彼完印功无算。缒城之日一筐免，捷书只奏都堂彦。
锦衣世爵身上卿，尽是平民膏血换。到今留得数空城，犹胜辽阳熊李窜。
因见近来官爵多，廉耻少，功名重，忠义小。板荡识忠臣，疾风知劲草。
高官与大禄，愿得太平保。凌阁拟形容，福堂享寿考。
虽有青史名，岂能及舆皂。我今一日扶起高参军、李侍郎，堂堂正气垂风霜。
要令节义高千古，身虽磔裂名犹芳。人生百年终一死，安能腼颜苟活坐取侯与王。

刘宗周（1578—1645），字起东，别号念台，汉族，明朝绍兴府山阴（今浙江绍兴）人，因讲学于山阴蕺山，学者称蕺山先生。他是明代最后一位儒学大师，也是宋明理学（心学）的殿军。他著作甚多，内容复杂而晦涩。他开创的蕺山学派，在中国思想史特别是儒学史上影响巨大。清初大儒黄宗羲、陈确、张履祥等都是这一学派的传人。刘宗周的思想学说还具有承先启后的作用。当代新儒家学者牟宗三甚至认为，刘宗周绝食而死后，中华民族的命脉和中华文化的命脉都发生了危机，这一危机延续至今。
