（1458—1546）明苏州府吴县人，字君谦。成化二十年进士。授礼部主事。好读书，每得意则手舞足蹈，不能自禁，人称“颠主事”。以多病，致仕居支硎山下，课读经史。性狷介，胸襟狭隘，好持人短长。武宗南巡至南京，召赋《打虎曲》称旨，令改武人装，随从左右，常使为乐府、小令，以俳优待之。循吉以为耻而辞归。晚年落寞，更坚癖自好。有《松筹堂集》及杂著多种。
