王周，明州奉化（今属浙江）人。真宗大中祥符五年（1012）进士（《乾道四明图经》卷一二）。乾兴元年（1022）以大理寺丞知无锡县。仁宗宝元二年（1039）又以虞部员外郎知无锡县（《咸淳毗陵志》卷一○）。庆历中知明州（《实庆四明志》卷一）。又尝知抚州（清光绪《抚州府志》卷三五）。皇祐四年（1052）致仕，归荆南（《温国文正司马公文集》卷八《送光禄王卿周致仕归荆南》）。
