释斯植，字建中，号芳庭，武林（今浙江杭州）人。曾住南岳寺，晚年筑室天竺，曰水石山居。与同时诗人胡三省、陈起等多有唱酬。《南宋六十家小集》收有《采芝集》及《采芝续稿》各一卷（续稿有理宗宝祐四年自跋）。事见本集及《续稿跋》。 释斯植诗，以汲古阁影宋抄《南宋六十家小集》本为底本，《采芝集》编为第一卷，《采芝续稿》编为第二卷。校以读画斋本《南宋群贤小集》（简称群贤集）。新辑集外诗附于卷末。
