（?—618）隋会稽馀姚人，字茂世。虞荔子。博学有才，善草隶书。初仕于陈。累官尚书左丞。入隋，拜内史舍人。炀帝即位，重其才，任为内史侍郎，典机密，参与朝政。后见天下紊乱，政事日非，帝又不纳谏，且惧及祸，乃唯诺取容不敢忤旨。有告败者，不以实闻。又卖官鬻爵，贿赂公行。朝野共怨。终为宇文化及所杀。
