朱庸斋（1920一1983），原名奂，字涣之。词学家、书法家。广东新会县人，世居西关。出身书香世家，为晚清秀才朱恩溥的儿子。幼时研读古典文学，尤酷爱词章，随陈洵学词， 13岁能吟诗，深得老师喜爱。青年时以词知名，长期系统研究词学，提出填词以“重、拙、大”作标准，后又加“深”字，对词学发展作出了贡献。除词学外，偶作明人小品画亦楚楚可人，书法习钟繇，雍容雅秀，尤工于小札和题跋。1983年，朱庸斋肾病复发，病逝于广州西关之分春馆。
