董节妇，姓袁氏，江西吉安之永丰人也。
年二十而夫死，以姑在，不从死，许身以节，事其姑良孝
。
正德中，闽寇寇永丰，妇及姑被执，妇固万死不可辱矣，
又持其姑哀泣请死，求贼生之。
会夫之兄董凤求贼生其母，亦哀泣请死。
贼义之，皆得生去。
同执者金生亲见之云。
余友人胡涍为县永丰，胡则胡节妇子也。
故诵节妇事甚详。
节妇有遗腹子，已殇。
殇子名行仁，节妇孙矣。
妇今年八十有六，行仁走千里来吴会，乞赠言为大母寿。
吾知寿非大母心也，赋《董节妇》。
然胡永丰又曰：“有刘某妻罗氏者，骂贼投井而死。
”盖同时矣。
闽酋昔寇永丰县，董家袁妇遭兵乱。
不惟全节全其姑，万刃交前颜不变。
夫之母，宁独死。
夫之兄，又请死。
岂曰妇人惭，孝子悲，辞鬼神，慑烈气，金石开。
妇求生姑子生母，一时争死天所哀。
至情感贼贼敛手，谁其见之金秀才。
董节妇，节孝两难及。
二十守寡逾八十，寒江冻雪孤筠立。
有孙千里来乞文，告余往事青袍湿。
骂贼投井死亦奇，当时更有刘家妻。

王叔承(1537—1601) 明诗人。初名光允，字叔承，晚更名灵岳，字子幻，自号昆仑承山人，吴江人。喜游学，纵游齐、鲁、燕、赵，又入闽赴楚。叔承以其无礼贤下士之实意，赋诗离去。又客大学士李春芳家，嗜酒。春芳有所纂述，常醉卧弗应，久之乃请其归。太仓王锡爵是其布衣之交，对三王并封之议，遗书数千言规劝之，锡爵为此叹服不已。其诗为王世贞兄弟所推崇。曾纵观西苑园内之胜，作汉宫曲数十阕，流传于禁中。著作有《潇湘编》、《吴越游集》、《宫词》、《壮游编》、《蟭螟寄杂录》、《后吴越编》、《荔子编》、《岳色编》、《芙蓉阁遗稿》等。
