吕止庵，别有吕止轩，疑即一人。生卒、经历不详。散曲作品内容感时悲秋，自伤落拓不遇，间有兴亡之感，可能是一宋亡不仕的遗民。明·朱权《太和正音谱》评其词"如晴霞结绮"。以后庭花十首得盛名。今存北词谱及阳春白雪中。所做散曲作品现存小令三十三首，套数四套。
