不甚了了的典故

东汉末年，河南太守李膺名声很大，轻易不接见客人。有个10岁的孩子，名叫孔融，他偏要去见见李膺。

太守府门庭森严，孔融对守门人说：“我是李大人的亲戚。”守门人陪送他去见李膺，可李膺不认识他，问：“你是我的什么亲戚？”孔融回答：“我的祖先孔子和你的祖先老子很有交情。我和你不是世交吗？”李膺的宾客们见他才思敏捷，很善于讲话，都感到惊奇。只有大夫陈韪不以为然，说：“小时了了，大未必佳。”孔融立刻说：“想君小时，必当了了。”窘得陈韪半天说不出话来。

孔融长大后中，做过北海相等官，是历史名人。
