一日三秋的典故

出自中国最古老的民歌集《诗经》王风‧釆葛篇：

彼釆葛兮，一日不见，如三月兮。彼釆萧兮，一日不见，如三秋兮。彼釆艾兮，一日不见，如三岁兮。

这是一首怀念人的诗，被怀念者可能是女性。古时的歌谣很多是歌唱爱情的，因此这首诗可以当作男人思念爱人的歌词。

全诗的意思是说：我忆念中的人儿啊！她在外面釆摘葛藤，一天不看见她，就如三个月不见那样！她正在野外釆摘艾草，一天没有见她的面，就像隔了三年啊！
