脚踏实地的典故

司马光，字君实，夏县涑水乡人，人称涑水先生。他是宋代著名的历史学家，我国第一部编年体通史《资治通鉴》就是他主编的。这部巨著在我国史学史上占有重要地位。司马光青年时代就喜好研究历史，读过不少史书。宋英宗时，他受命主编《通鉴》，前后十九年中，无时无刻不在努力钻研，专心写作。他的工作态度十分严谨，对许多章节都做了反复修改。全书编成时，共二百九十四卷，另有目录三十卷，《考异》三十卷，包括上起战国，下至五代，共一千三百六十多年的历史。宋神宗将这部书定名为《资治通鉴》。宋神宗熙宁三年，司马光因反对王安石变法，离开京师，住在洛阳独乐园。这段时间里，他常与邵雍一起聚谈闲游。有一次，司马光问邵雍：“你看我这个人怎么样？”邵雍回答说：“君实是一个脚踏实地的人啊！”
