宋朝时期，东京80万禁军拳棒教头王进的父亲王升曾经棒打小流氓高俅。10年后王升去世，高俅爱踢球受到宋徽宗的赏识，官至殿帅府太尉，直接管辖王进。高俅为报一棒之仇命人把王进抓来打一顿。王进不怕官、只怕管，于是连夜携全家逃走。
